The LEROC Staff

Welcome to the LEROC Staff pages. In these pages we introduce the staff members who help LEROC Scotland  become  a great experience for all you dancers.  From dance teachers to the reception staff, all are commited to your enjoyment of the venues that we operate.

  I trained in London with my first dance partner Jamielah Leek under the tuition of Roi Forbes from the LEROC Federation in '96', completed a teacher training course with Patrice Calleja, and Chris Chainey of Dance Star International Ltd in London in the summer of 96,  I was the first ever Taxi Dancer in Glasgow with the Ceroc company from '95-96'.

 Before I opened a dance club in Glasgow, I looked at buying a dance franchise with Robert Austin of LeJive, and also James Cronin of Ceroc. I opted for LEROC and in '97'.  I joined the LEROC Federation, and qualified as a teacher in the same year,  Opened the first LEROC classes in Glasgow in September '97'. Opened in Edinburgh with Chalkie White teaching on a Friday night class in '98'. Opened in Ayr in '99,' with teachers Dorothy Fawcett and Joyce Morgan,

 For the last 7 years my regular dance partner has been Dorothy Fawcett who also teaches in Glasgow and Ayr.
Last  year we  expanded a little by opening  a Thursday in to Kilmarnock in 2006.

Additional to LEROC, I have completed 2 year ISTD Imperial Ballet, and 2 year ISTD Imperial Tap with Louise Devine of the Dance Factory in Glasgow.

 I am pleased to have taught over 1400 LEROC classes over the last nine years, I have trained 6 teachers: Jamielah Leek, Chalkie White,
Dorothy Fawcett, Joyce Morgan, Mark Eyles, and Isabel Eyles. 

Over the years LEROC in Scotland has achieved a lot. The FIRST company in Scotland to start monthly party nights. The FIRSTcompany in Scotland to host workshops by dancers from outside Scotland  ie:..

  One of my greatest achievements was being one of the finalists in the "Great Scott "awards at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow in 2004.
